Doing a Fulham: - Paying way over the odds to purchase a football club just because it’s in London - Sacking 2 managers in first year of ownership and the club getting relegated after 13 years in the Premier league. - After a couple of poor years in the Championship getting a decent manager and sticking with him to eventual promotion. - spending 100m in first summer to try and stay up. - Sacking 2 managers and the club getting relegated.

Still think we need one more striker to conclude the business. Too much reliance on Wesley at the moment.

I like Steer. I think he would have been ok in goal. But the fact we’ve signed a much better keeper gives me confidence we want to strengthen in every area and arent taking any chances. Striker needs to be next and then we’re good to go.

We’ve also been very successful with Friedal. Wasn’t he 37 when we signed him?

I think you’re underestimating our Dougie Lou. I see where you’re coming through. It’s good we have options but the later signings may need more time to settle.

Can’t think of many. Which is why I was amazed Doug sanctioned a 3 million pound move for a 33 year old David Ginola 19 years ago! Crazy!!
