I’d agree but one cross was a sitter Grealish missed and the other was a sitter Taylor missed. So whilst not always effective it was in 2 incidents. The second one being superb play by Jack too.

I don’t know if Steer is good enough but Heaton had a pretty poor game on Saturday. Two massive howlers but only one cost us a goal. He is a lot better than that. Also haven’t we still got Kalinic?

He contributes a lot more than Hogan ever did. Let’s be fair on the lad.

Watch the extended highlights again. He has moments where he looks quality the way he skips past people. This means he has it in him at least he just needs to do it more often. Id more concerned if I hadn’t seen anything from him like a Bosko Balaban or Scott Hogan.

Not sure you can say that. Taylor made a tackle when Bournemouth had an open goal. That would have been 3-0 and game over.

From what I’ve seen in the last game compared to what I saw of Kodjia all of last season I’m shocked that some fans already want him replaced. Really hope he can score on Friday.

Ha! The Irony. I do think Taylor is shit going forward though. Although he has looked pretty solid last 2 games to be fair. He looks better in this league than the Championship.

Just watched the highlights and it was also his cross from the byline that dropped to Taylor when he should have scored. I swear it’s like some people have just made their mind up that Elmo doesn’t get forward regardless of what happens in the game.

Wasn’t it Elmo that put it on a plate for Jacks header?

He reminds me of Drogba when he first joined Chelsea. At times looks a world beater at other times looks like he’s never played football in his life. I think he’ll eventually be fine.

I’d normally agree but I remember saying we would finish mid table after the first 2 games of the season we got relegated. its just way too early to judge either way but we should keep positive.

I missed this as went for pint and the screen wasn’t working. Strangely not one of the highlight videos I’ve seen have shown it. edit: after saying that I just managed to see it. Was good defending. Great play by Wesley though.
