    Only because of his post match interview. In terms of the game his team did well. Bruces teams will always be hard to beat when they take the lead. But once they go behind they are unlikely to get anything out the game.

    Maybe he doesn’t deserve credit but the contribution is worth acknowledging. I would have done the same regardless of which player laid it off. Too often players just look to put the ball in to the box even if a pass isn’t on rather than keeping the ball. The rest was all about Luiz.

    I get making changes and giving squad players a chance but I hope we’re still strong enough to win. Be great to have a good cup run.

    I agree but that exaggerated response wasn’t an immediate response to an opinion on Jack. Quite a lot of nonsense proceeded it. E.g. terms like butthurt fan club and Jack being wanked off for 6 months. I get where you’re coming from though.

    I love Villa but I need money. Edit. Saying that I’ve lost a lot betting on villa in the past. Maybe @KenjiOgiwara is on to something. Hopefully in the nicest possible way he doesn’t win to many of those bets this season.

    Great post and pretty much how I saw the game. Jacks role is no longer an attacking midfield. We can’t have that luxury anymore where he can remain further forward for a lot of the game. He is pretty much all over the pitch now and doing a good job for us. The great thing is we all know there’s even more to come from him.

    Probably about right but then if we asked fans of our rival teams to give an assessment of the team they would all probably say something similar. Thats why it really will be a mini league of 10 or so teams.

    Friday/Saturday evening games will always be the loudest as everyone’s pissed up. The last time I heard an atmosphere like that was when we beat Wolves 4-1.

    He didn’t the year we went down mate. He was shambolic in a few of the games and used to just walk back when we got caught on the break. I remember it clearly. I think some people might remember that too. He was a decent servent in the Championship though and I wish him well.
