    Zaha and Townsend are key for them. Keep them 2 quiet and I don’t think they have much creativity elsewhere. I could be wrong though.

    When I took my daughter my 7 year old niece also came along. She moaned and had a face on her all the way through. Can’t really have a word the way I would with my own kid either. Done my head in.

    Maybe it will just take time to get used to it. I liked it in the World Cup apart from the stupid handball in the final.

    Souness and Lescott said the same but Kane leaned over because he expected him there. But because he had gone down and swung himself in front of Kane he bought him down. But I guess the fact it’s being debated probably means it shouldn’t be given. Second one was the David Silva incident.

    I was happy to see VAR but I can’t see where it’s been a success so far. The 2 handballs are farcical but I accept that’s more about the new rule than the use of VAR. But it’s also missed 2 blatant penalties. I can’t think of an incorrect decision that it’s overturned. Maybe the offside which again was millimetres and never would have been debated had the goal been given.

    I think because they are trying to make the decision quickly they are getting decisions wrong. Ref isn’t giving it in case it’s over turned. VAR aren’t giving it because they don’t want to undermine the ref. If VAR isn’t sure tell the ref to go and have a look on the screen. Yes it takes longer but at least they have more chance of getting it right. It cost Spurs a point and allowed Newcastle to gain 2. It was such a blatant penalty. This could have such a big impact end of the season for so many teams. Its the kind of decision the ref should be checking again

    Regardless of who plays you gotta double up against Zaha. Sheffield United did it brilliantly and he didn’t have a sniff all game. Plus he normally plays on the left.

    Whilst passing by I’d like to say he’s fast becoming one of my favourite players. I really enjoy watching him play. Might even get a shirt with his name on the back.

    I took my daughter a few months before she turned 3. Whilst she enjoyed it when we scored for the rest of the time I had to give her a phone to keep her entertained. We sat in the family section. It was funny when she started shouting come on villa whilst everyone was sitting quietly. I personally think around 5 or older the best time to start taking them or once they are able to sit and watch a whole game on tv with you.

    Maybe in one off games but overall the best teams will have high possession stats. I think the only exception in recent years is Leicester.

    Hey don’t tar us all with the same brush. I’ll have a good moan now and then when it’s warranted but to suggest Anwar’s push was an act of violence is pretty ridiculous in my opinion.

    Just one person to be fair. El Ghazi did seem a bit agitated last night so that late tackle wouldn’t have helped. Obviously I’m no professional footballer but he reacted better than I would have.

    Results last night may indicate we have a stronger squad than the likes of Palace and Norwich which may be telling later on in the season when injuries and suspensions kick in. Should both have the best 11 available on Saturday though.

    I did notice he didn’t seem very happy yesterday when when we scored. I didn’t think anything of it though. All he did was push the guy that left a foot in. Hardly worth suggesting he’s in the wrong profession!
