The reactive nature to results will never change. That game was a draw in my eyes. Palace away is not an easy game and we stood up to them with 10 men for most of the second half.
What this team may lack in quality will be made up for in character and spirit. We will be fine.
I agreed Davis impressed which was encouraging. He looks ready.
Wesley had a bit of a shocker. The lack of service didn’t help but he struggled with his hold up play.
I don’t think there is an answer to social media racism. These cowards will always exist. The only thing that can be done is for everyone to give them abuse.
The one thing worse than a racist comment on twitter are replies that find it funny or even add to it.
One racist coward on his own I can handle. When it becomes a crowd of racists it becomes harder to stomach.
Ayew was different class to be fair. Constant nuisance for our defenders. He would be great in this team now.
Easy to forget he actually scored 10 goals in the season we got relegated.
Windrush sounds like a complete and utter f**k up by the government but I’m quoting this because you should never take it for granted when moving to another country and keep papers in a safe place for as long as possible. Still it’s Inexcusable what happened.
Anyway I was born here and feel as British as the next man but you never know when the natives could get restless and hound us all out!
My old man always taught me that.
The media and pundits have hammered the ref. It’s become pretty high profile. Be interesting to see how the ref handles our next game.
Maybe we get a few 50/50 decisions go out way in the next few games.
Whilst we didn’t play well I saw an amazing amount of fight from the players. Especially with 10 men. To play most of second half with 10 men and overturn a 1-0 deficit shows tremendous character.
Surely we should be taking heart from that.
Going off topic but there was a serious problem a few years back in west London with people from Indian here illegally that couldn’t find work because of the amount of Europeans that were here and able to work legally.
The were left homeless and in many cases turned to drugs. They were desperate to go back to India but were too scared to as would get detained and in many cases couldn’t even afford to as sold everything they had just to get here.
Believe it or not these people desperately needed help to return. We’re talking thousands of workers.
So as ridiculous as the truck looks. It was actually needed at one stage and in certain areas of the country.
No it doesn’t because you don’t know what paperwork and evidence was submitted and whether it was what the home office asked for.
Of course mistakes get made whether it’s due to human error or incompetence. It’s why you heave appeals processes.
But I think we’re starting to move away from the topic of Brexit now so should probably leave it there.
