    So far we’ve matched Fulham’s results haven’t we? They lost 2-0 at home to West Ham so time to buck that trend.

    The scenes in Italy and sometimes Spain remind me of England in the late eighties and early nineties. Racism was dying down but still present at certain grounds. It’s just pure ignorance that’s taking a lot longer for the Country to deal with than it should. Going back to early 90s I’ll never forget a kid at school in year 5 telling me how the Villa fans at the game were shouting ‘p**i’ at Paul Ince to put him off. This is a 9 year old kid encouraged by elders to be racist and too stupid to even do it accurately!

    Im suprised he didn’t give Palace a penalty for Luiz’s challenge in the first half. He could have been all over that. Maybe it would have been too blatant.

    Goes to show it’s difficult to be sure which is why you let the game continue and refer to VAR if needed. Exactly this. He was desperate for us to lose for some reason.

    I don’t think the way he fell looks totally natural at first. I’m not saying he dived. I’m just saying I can see why a clearing in the woods biased referee would think he did and get it wrong. Its why they’re meant to use VAR.

    I think as soon as he felt contact he went down so it was a probably a foul. I think it’s come a little natural to him to wait for the contact to win a freekick or penalty. So the ref should have either played on or gave a freekick or penalty. Edit: I have to admit at the time I thought he may have dived but I was waiting for VAR to clear it all up one way or another. The fact VAR wasn’t even allowed to look at it because the idiot had blown his whistle was sickening.

    So England and Wales voted leave. The three others countries voted remain. Interesting.

    I think he was looking for it a little bit the way he fell but he clearly jumped straight back up again so tried to continue with the game. I can see why Friend thought he dived but it’s inexcusable to blow the whistle straight away when they have been clearly briefed that they need to let play continue so VAR can be used. That’s what winds me up the most.

    It’s hard to predict how long central banks will keep bailing out countries that are showing no economic improvement year by year.

    Who knows! We’ll probably realise it was good to leave (if we do) when the Italian debt crisis rears it’s ugly heard again. Maybe by then we will be in a better position to react to it. Cant disagree with the bold part.

    Great post. The part highlighted is key for me. Voting leave was always going to mean short to medium term pain for potential improvement in the long term. If people that voted leave expected an overnight improvement to their lives then they f**ked up.

    Didn’t realise it had to be sold out first. Most the seats left are restricted or just crap view. Im sure in the Championship the resale partner was used for all games.

    For me the problem is our wingers. They are our game changers and at the moment they are not consistently good enough. But they are all very new to this league and in Trez’s case new to the country so it could take time for them to settle. Hopefully all 3 of them will improve at the season progresses. Im sure it’s an area that’s been identified for January though.

    Well he did more in that 20 minutes than Wesley did in 3 other games. Im not saying Wesley should be dropped. But I was pleasantly suprised by Davis. I though he would look way out of his league but he actually looked quite comfortable.

    I think this could be the problem. Where these 3 are going to be consistently good enough at this level.

    It was a pretty bold move. Rather than park the bus for a point he went for the win and until we got caught on the break we looked ok and still a threat. Most would have shut up shop.
