Players just aren’t good enough I guess. It’s why we’re a newly promoted team.
I know everyone is saying Arsenal are s**t, but they are still a top 6 team. We won’t face this kind of opposition every week.
If we don’t beat Burnley I’ll be a lot more worried.
It’s really frustrating but it always happens in games against better teams. Norwich had parked the bus v city but they missed the chances they created. Unfortunately for us Arsenal took theirs.
It does feel like it always happens to us though.
I know what you mean but the team that went down would lose 3-0 in normal fashion. This team put up a fight but the quality just wasn’t there. On another day we’d hold on. It just want to be.
No way was it a tactic. He was screaming for them to push up. The problem was we couldn’t keep the ball so the players kept having to drop. The manager can’t control the players ability to pass the ball.
I try to look at the positives and I’m still seeing many of them. More than I saw for our last 5 seasons in the Premier League.
Bournemouth aside I still don’t think we’ve played a team that is a serious relegation contender. If after half a season we’re still in the bottom 3 I’ll accept we’re in trouble and will probably go down.
I’m not accepting it while we’re losing by the odd goal against a top 6 team.
Wtf were you even watching the game? Trez had clearly run himself in to the ground.
If taking off a player who’s about to collapse is the worst decision you’ve ever seen then you clearly don’t watch a lot of football.
The thing is if he made the changes early and we still lost he’d be slammed for changing a team that was winning.
Arsenal were poor but the standard of some of their players are miles ahead of ours. We havent got a single player in the team anywhere near the level of that French lad, Pepe and their striker. That’s 3 players that cost more than our whole squad put together.
Some of our fans need to get a grip.
He didnt make the changes at the right time today and it’s cost us.
But as I said our season won’t be defined by games at the Emirates.
If we don’t get 3 points at Burnley I’ll be more worried.
I remember a few games when he came on and seem to just strut about. Wasn’t chasing or pressing at all. I also heard stories about him being a bit arrogant when meeting fans. As if he had made it big time and above them.
These things stuck with me, admittedly very unfairly.
I hope he features more too. I have to admit I wasn’t a fan of his. Felt his attitude wasn’t right. But from what I’ve seen of him this season it looks like he’s working very hard on his game.
I had a dream that Davis scores today. The ball is layed off to him and he has a pretty lame placed shot which luckily goes through the keepers legs. Might put a sneaky quid on it.
