    Well if you look back you’ll see my response was to a conversation about what I thought the outcome of today’s vote would be so I didn’t think I’d need to. But I’ll bear that in mind next time. As to writing to my MP. No I didn’t because I don’t feel that passionately about it. But fair point. Did you write to your MP and do you think it made a difference?

    I get that’s great to see your players representing his country and also brilliant for the player. It makes the international games worth watching. But there is no benefit to the club whatsoever. More chance of injury, more exposure, more pressure. The longer Southgate leaves him out the better in my opinion. As long he keeps delivering for Villa that’s what counts.

    I didn’t about Wyness. Told you all he was dodgy mainly because of his face. Many turned on me but you need to understand a face reveals many things.

    Can I just clarify my original question to @StefanAVFC was because I though he was referring to the governments behaviour of the last two weeks for the reason why he is seriously considering his Polish citizenship. i.e. wants nothing to do with England and it’s government. I’ve since realised (thanks @ml1dch) that he was talking about sorting it out from a legal viewpoint and to be certain of his residential status. Apologies for misunderstanding.

    Not a hate figure for me and i was ok with him until the Burnley game. It was reminder of how poor he can be and cost us points. I can forgive mistakes. I also don’t care that he can’t attack. I can’t forgive him ignoring the basics of defending.

    Did a bit of reading on them on the train and their policies on matter such as abortion, IVF, Gay Rights and immigration seem very backwards (if true of course). Would you really want to be a Citizen of a country with such a political party in power? Our lot maybe a bunch of incompetent t**ts that made a complete balls up of Brexit but at least we have our civil rights.

    Good luck to you mate. Out of interest doesn’t the populist right wing government put you off becoming a citizen though? Genuine question as all I see in the news is how they are a threat to the EU. Don’t really know much about it though.
