Fair enough. I personally think we got a special manager that is continuously learning and we’d be crazy to be part with him. But we’ll see what the future brings.
Why aren’t we doing the old fashioned boing when their players have the ball late on. It always works a treat. We need to help the players get over the line.
I’d be interested to know out of all those that voted average or less for Smith rating were at the game today.
I have a feeling it’s one of those game you had to be there to appreciate how hard the players worked. Had I watched that game on tv i don’t think I would have been as impressed.
Spot on. Our wingers didn’t track their full backs enough second half but if they had we would have more or less parked the bus. Then our fans would have moaned we went too negative (if we still didn’t get a result).. It’s fine margins.
Kind of my point mate. Lambert and Bruce used to get us the wins in these types of games and look where that got us. I’m surprised the team can be criticised after today’s performance, but that’s just me.
They’ve done it to a lot of team to be fair. One of the best clubs in the world lost a 3-0 lead to them. We should be proud of the team today. We’ve come a long way.
Ok if we keep it tight and limit them to crosses from fullbacks we can deal with them. My worry is then set pieces. When they are struggling from open play they always seem to pop up with a set piece goal. vvd hard to handle in the air.
The 6 posts on one page make me suspect you’re not impressed with Mings?
I personally think he is our best defender and our captain without the armband, Yes he has made mistakes but he has more than made up for it with all the good stuff he has done for us. Defending that lead to an England cap.
Agree he needs to cut out some of the mistakes but no way can he be seen as a concern.
I love the way the club are dealing with things these days. No messing around. It still feels weird having top people in charge after so many of years of mismanagement.
