Smith has made at least 9 changes from the previous game for every league cup game we have played so I think we know where the priorities lie. Saying that we have to have a strong team for the semi’s. I bet you Leicester will.
He was an improvement on Amavi at the time who couldn’t defend to save his life although he was good going forward.
Taylor isn’t actually that bad. The problem is he is not very good.
Why’s everyone getting so worked up by the coverage. It’s the youngest Liverpool team in history and they gave us a good game. Let them have their praise. We won 5-0.
Kodija likes to try and spin the last man which may cause defences to sit a little deeper and allow us to dominate the game. Whilst i don’t rate Kodija he does give centre halves something to think about with his movement. Pushing to start Saturday. Happy Wesley got a goal though. Will do his confidence good.
Shaky start against kids but comfortable in the end. You could feel the nerves early on such was the potential banana skin. Happy for Wesley and Kodija to get amongst the goals. Also well done Nyland who made some great saves. Finally great to see Chester back.
As for Liverpool. Harvey Elliot is going to be a superstar.
If I remember correctly it was your idol Bruce that played Chester a lot more and had no cover for him. Smith bought in 2 centre halves and recalled a 3rd so Chester didn’t have to play.
Let’s all believe the Daily Mail when it suits our anti Smith agenda.
Smith didn’t even put our head and shoulders stand out player on the bench for 2 games when he wasn’t 100% fit. As if he would play an injured Mcginn every single minute.
People believe anything.
Not necessarily. Hadn’t Spurs and Grealish agreed terms without a transfer fee being agreed? He could have discussed terms with both clubs but only Brighton offered what he wanted hence agreed a fee with Brentford.
I hear his wage demands would have made him the highest paid player at the club and in our history. Hey it’s not my money and I wish the club signed him. But I can understand why they didn’t.. If Brighton go down he will be the first player they will have to sell.
I hear they were able to offer higher wages. Considering it’s their third year in the Premier league and they didn’t have to spend £140 million in one summer they could afford to offer more.
It’s not transfer fees that get clubs in a mess. It’s over inflated wage bills.
