Well if he flopped it would be smith and co’s fault. We’re just crazy fans with crazy suggestions! They’re the ones that are accountable for the decisions.
Im not saying snap him up. I’m saying I would rather Benteke than nobody. There will always be a chance we can’t land our targets so will have to go for last resorts.
No I wouldn’t want him if he had no history with the club.
Bloody hell the romance in football really is dead.
Benteke returning to villa park would be unbelievable. I don’t care if he’s not the same player or past it. He is still getting minutes so must still be able to play at this level. Can you imagine the atmosphere on his debut?
I would rather sign Benteke than no one though. So it really would have to be a last resort last minute deadline day signing it it happened.
Then he’d keep us up.
Only went back 10 years or so but couldn’t see a team on 21 points after 21 games get relegated. I wonder if it’s ever happened since it became 20 teams.
I suspect this is purely a system issue. They had to register it on the system when first discussed but then can’t delete it and have to just close it. It then stays on the system. I don’t think it should affect future insurance but might be worth making a complaint about it just in case.
Who knows what the situation is. It may will be depression and if so hope he recovers soon. End of the day he is not good enough and needs to be moved on for everybody concerned. Hopefully for him at championship or Ligue 1 level where he can make an impact.
Like last night the longer the game goes on without conceding we have a chance of getting something from the game. We’ll have to park the bus and hit on the break and every single player has to be switched on for 90 minutes. Need a bit of a luck, some top saves and who knows. Either way it’s a free hit really. Brighton away is the big one.
If they score first though I think it’s over.
Lads this is the Mings thread. Stop confusing me.
FWIW I think the term World Class is branded for too easily these days. Jack will be world class, no doubt about it. But he is not quite there yet. After this season and the Euro’s he will be known all over the world.
He went mental at Nyland when he passed it to Guilbert rather than play it short to Hause. I can understand Nyland reluctance to go short to the centre halves with the way Leicester were pressing. I thought it was funny how much Mings flipped out though.
Mings is a our VVD. We can’t defend without him. If Liverpool lost VVD they wouldn’t win the league just as if we lose Mings we will get relegated.
