I don’t think he’s shit. I was just pointing out his stats don’t suggest he was a complete Balaban style disaster. He just wasn’t good enough for Premier League champions.

Considering they’ve managed goals and assists in this league I don’t agree. I honestly think if O’Hare was playing in this team he would be non existent. I also think those three players whilst not good enough for what we need in the top flight would still all rip up the championship. I guess we might find out next season.

Id set up the same way as Burnley and try hit on the break. It worked well against Leicester too. It ain’t pretty but it’s the only way we are going to get results away from home. We can’t abandon it just because it didn’t work against one of the best team around.

I don’t remember him being a flop at Everton. Always looked good to me and I was surprised they didn’t sign him. Considering we signed Trez for the same amount it seems good business to me. 12m is peanuts these days and he was an obvious talent but surplus to requirement at Barcelona. Hence the fee and the reason it was ‘good business’.

Really surprised how quickly this guy has been written off by some. We have all seen how good he can be in a defensive midfield role when he first came on the scene and we we’re playing well. He’s confidence is clearly shot to bits.

I would argue he wasn’t playing well for the own standard he had set early on. He was still a big presence for 70 minutes or so. Need him back so badly.

I would argue long term injuries to your number 1 and 2 keeper is it a pretty major issue. I don’t care how well Nyland played against Leicester. Look at West Ham without Fabiansky. They’re f**ked. The club have done well to get Reina in. I just hope he’s still got it what it takes.

Those posting about his political views have a genuine reasons not to like the guy. That’s fair enough. But how does that work from a support perspective? Do you just say your piece and the get behind him or does it go further than that? I.e. refuse to watch when he plays etc. Genuinely interested.
