They won’t go unbeaten all season because will win the league too early. A lot of partying after that unless they are in still in the champions league or course.
He lacks that yard of pace. Jota is the same but even slower. Both have lots of ability but without that extra bit of pace it’s hard to be successful in this league. Is it something he can work on?
Is it just me or does Pearson come across as a horrible person? Maybe he is completely different away from press conferences but he just doesn’t seem very pleasant at all.
I like this lad. He’s off the ball running is really intelligent and moves defenders about a lot. Frees up space for the likes of Grealish and El Ghazi to move in too.
Hope to see more of him.
As I’ve said before he is just a no nonsense defender. He is very good at defending but pretty poor on the ball. Just clear it or lay it off mate. Keep it simple.
As i said the mood on Villa talk is all about results. We lose and most of our players are not even fit for the championship. Our recruitment team are a joke and Smith should be sacked. We win and all our young players have bright futures and Smith is the right man for us.
I like positivity so I’ll enjoy the next few days on VT
This is also a team that has spent something like 500 million in the last 4-5 years, a lot of It ‘proven Premier League players’ and also have Ancelotti as manager. Crazy!
I thought he got it very wrong first half. We had a constant back 3 even though they they had 10 men behind the ball. It was impossible to get through and we had no runners from midfield to support.
Second half Luiz was able to get forward and one of the centre halves would try to get further forward too. Young striker also moved defenders around and El Ghazi was able to pick the ball from deep and run at defenders. I also think Watford’s time wasting tactics helped rile the players and fans. If they had been more aggressive rather than passive we wouldn’t have got back in to that game.
As I said in another post we’ve managed 10 points from 15 and 4 from 7 without a recognised striker. The players have a belief and are not giving up even though a lot of the fans seem to have. I was shocked at how negative the support was first half. second half the fans were superb.
Need to continue this against Bournemouth who will be desperate for a win.
In Smith we trust.
I think the way our players celebrated both goals show how much this means to them. There ready for the fight.
We’ve also now managed 10 points from our last 15. Not bad for a team in crisis that is full of players not even fit for the championship.
