I get pitch invasions when you haven’t reached Wembley or had any success for years. Or if you’re small club with a big scalp. Bur we’ve been too Wembley for the past 2 seasons. Yesterday was all a bit silly and unnecessary really.

Couldn’t go yesterday but there’s a guy that normally sits near me in the Doug Ellis that shouts and swears at our players all the way through the game. I’m sure at one point I heard him on the tv!

Of course. I love Mcginn but Maddison on a different level at the moment. He one of the best midfielders in the league.

I’d considering starting him Saturday. He looks very sharp. It’s a must win for Bournemouth so they will have to come at us leaving plenty of space for pacey counter attacks.

Whether right or not we are going to compare him to others that have played up front this season. He looked off the pace and you can tell it will take a while for him to settle in this league. However you could also see he is a proper striker. His movement and his link up play at times was very good. He was always in the box moving for a pass. Its basics for a striker but we just haven’t seen it enough this season so it’s encouraging after so long we saw it in 2 players in one game. If we can secure one more decent striker we’ll be ok for the rest of the season.

El Ghazi still the much better player for me but he has also played in tougher leagues and had an extra year in England. Trez will only get better. Decent squad player to have.

I get why everyone is saying it’s a penalty but when you jump and turn your back your leaning arm naturally goes up with momentum. To keep it the side of you and jump whilst turning is what would be an unnatural position. Basically you wouldn’t be able to jump. I know many won’t agree but I think no penalty was the right call.

City hadn’t created anything against us until Mahrez just ran through everyone and scored a cheap goal. Then for the second another mistake not to put it out and it’s 2-0. We massively missed Nakamba getting around the pitch in the game. Drinkwater playing was a big mistake. The players just didn’t seem at it. Against city you have to just accept you won’t have the ball all game and frustrate them. Longer game goes on eventually you’ll get a chance on the break. Both Newcastle and Palace manage its and we’re just as good as both of them teams. 100% concentration all game and you never know.

Fair enough. It’s just a lot of our summer signings have been written off by many and the recruitment massively questioned. They all had a decent game today and got us to a final. It’s nice to see them all getting some praise.

I really like Target. He is a very good player and will only get better. Really does need to switch on at all times in defence though. It’s a part of his game that will no doubt improve.

Wow it’s almost as if our young players that are completely new to this league are improving every game. It makes no sense. ok I’ll stop being a word removed in all the threads now. It just winds me up when so many of our new players get written off. They proved a few people on here wrong today. Hopefully they can continue to do it.
