Probably not because we’re not actually that good. I don’t think a manager can wave his magic wand and make these players better. I do however think it was a respectable performance in the cup final. Im not defending Smith or the team and I can see all our weaknesses clearly as the next man.. As I’m sure the team can too. But it’s been discussed to death and it’s boring now. We’ve got 11 cup finals left. Let’s debate each one as they come.

Haha I was going to mention that one game but I knew you’d find it. You think those stats would have been the same if City had 11 men for 90 minutes? If you do then you’re lying.

I do love your positive attitude mate. It’s what we need. If I’m being honest I don’t think we’ll get anything from Leicester but I’m hoping to see a good performance that the team can take a lot of heart from. Anything else will be a bonus. Then we need to aim to beat Chelsea at home in front of a full house. These players really need the12th man more than ever. That would put us 16th with 9 games to play.

So basically we played the same way as 18 other teams did against City this season. I watch them a lot and it’s the only way to play against them. Sometimes you are able to take your chances on the break and score whilst keeping them out the other end. There is no other way to play against City because they are just that good. The important thing is being switched on for 90 minutes. Unfortunately we weren't and that was our downfall.

I know we did and so have many teams against Son. He’s a class act. We al know we need to defend better, pointless to keep repeating it. This Burnley Spurs is odd. Both teams seem very leggy.

I don’t rate him but if a pub player can score against 4 of the current top 5 Premier League teams then the standard of the league really has hit a new low in football.

That’s crazy! I’m still expecting an eventual V shape recovery following very loose monetary policies but how far it falls before that is anyone’s guess. Looking at 2600 area in spx if last weeks low goes. Best to keep powder dry for now.

As if the Dean Smith thread thread wasn’t enough to criticise him. A manager thread had to be created. You’re right. It’s happened 6 other times in the second tier of English football in the last 100 years. It was also the first time we ever did it. The very minimum we expect from the manager!
