Wouldn’t player sales balance the books to keep us compliant with FFP? I understand this year we will break even but last year there was massive loses? I really don’t get it. Either way I think Smith or whoever the manager is will have a decent squad to challenge for top 2 next season.

I’d probably take Sam until the end of the season. For all his faults he is a good manager and may get a new manager bounce at the least. It feels like Smith and his team are out of ideas.

I guess. There just seems to be a lot of hostility towards him. When our fans turn on a manager it becomes toxic at the club.

I kept off here last night as knew it would be brutal. We all know the team lacks quality but now they are completely void of any confidence. Defeated almost. It feel like the year we went down. The worst thing is it also feels like Jack and Mings have given up. It’s over isnt it?

You can sit in the office and gossip, do quizzes and generally faff around all day but if you work from home you must clearly by skiving. I have to put earphones in at work to be able to get anything done such is the noise around me. It’s the only way to stop people talking to me as well! Yes I’m a miserable sod.

Same here. It makes sense to wfh for those who can and I’m surprised companies haven’t done it sooner. In certain sectors productivity might even go up.

That United team cost around 400 million if not more. It’s not really a fair comparison. But to answer your question they played 3 at the back so hadn’t set up how we did. They defended the dink over the top for the wingers to run on to much better than we did because of the extra man. Also defended corners much better. I’d argue they ‘parked the bus’ much better than we did.
