  1. Promotion in the first year of ownership along with record attendances and season ticket sales suggest otherwise.
  2. Exactly. It also isn’t fair that people are dying from a virus that originated 1000s of miles away. I think people need some perspective.
  3. I think people need to take things in to their own hands and just not go to these events. The government strategy seems quite sinister to me.
  4. If it gets as bad as the predictions football will be the last thing on people’s minds.
  5. I reckon if Liverpool were a few points clear they would just cancel the season. The fact they have as good as won the league is causing the problem across the board.
  6. That’s true. Personally I don’t think I would care. My wife disagrees. She thinks I’d be distraught. Maybe I’m just losing my love for the game. PS if they decide to end the season and not relegate us. I’m happy to void our bet
  7. Maybe I’m saying this because it would turn out ok for Villa but when I see the reaction of some grown men that are Leeds and Liverpool fans at the suggestion of cancelling the season. It really does make me think people need to take a good look at themselves. It’s a f**king game!
  8. The best solution I have heard so far is Liverpool are crowned champions. Leeds and Albion are promoted. No relegation. Following season 4 go down and 2 come up. I don’t know how this will determine European places though.
  9. I heard this. That’s same scary shit if true!!
  10. My old man just said that about 5 times and he’s in his 70s!
  11. Nah because everyone else would have played too so we would still have a game in hand. It’s the Sheffield United game they had to reschedule because of final.
  12. I don’t get this herd immunity strategy. How many people are they expecting to die in the mean time?
  13. Cancel the season they will have angry scousers and Liverpool fans in general rioting across the country. I honestly believe that would happen.
  14. I just had the shortness of breath which is why think it was something else. Who knows. Millions of people could have it right?
  15. Whilst it was fine for 3k of them to travel to Liverpool a couple of days ago. Madness.
  16. I had this on Monday. it was like I was struggling to take a deep breath when yawning. I put it down being unfit and playing football on Sunday and really struggling during that too. By Tuesday morning I was fine. I doubt it was coronavirus.
  17. I agree to an extent. Football is not just for the 40,000 in the ground. It’s for the millions around the world. I think for a few weeks playing behind closed doors wouldn’t be the end of the world. I agree to an extent. Against Spurs you could feel the tension in the air all second half. Would Engles have made that last minute error? Who knows. Either way it looks like games are on tomorrow. I’ve had family members pleading with me not to go so will have to give it a miss.
  18. You reckon players perform better behind closed doors? Less pressure from the crowd so can play with more freedom?
  19. I disagree mate. For all of Wesleys faults defenders hated him. He battled them all game and created space for other players. Its no coincidence our midfielders had a lot more chances when he was on the pitch.
  20. With 3k fans flying in from Madrid where coronavirus has hit hard. It’s ridiculous.
  21. MY parents were going sight seeing across india next week with an organised tour but the Indian government have banned all visa entry for the next month. Thank god for that.
  22. I thought we looked good against Burnley and fully deserved the win. Yes held on a bit at the end but should have killed the game off by then and had a stupid VAR decision go against us. I think losing Heaton and in some respects Wesley has cost us.
  23. Imagine if Terrys first game in charge was against Chelsea!
