Apparently it’s been like this at stores all over the Midlands. I just can’t get my head around it.

I read that China were more prepared for this because of the SARS epidemic. Seems like rather than making sure another virus didn’t breakout they just made sure they were prepared for the next one instead. I agree we’re not helping ourselves though. One for off topic I guess.

The Blasé attitude of it hasn’t killed that many people confuses me. I bet the same people complain when the government treat us all as numbers. Every life counts to someone. Will it take coronavirus to take a family member or close friend before they give a shit?

Yeh people are stupid stupid but I’d rather empty shelves and these people staying at home than them out and about spreading the virus. The stores refill every day. We’re not about to run out.

Not at all mate. I just personally think we’re way beyond the sceptical it’s all scaremongering comments. It’s those opinions that are making people continue to go out and about and spread it. I don’t think it’s going to help the situation.

Also people aren’t used to death like they were during those times. Life expectancy in 1918 In the US was 38 for men!

Why are people so against scaremongering? At the very least it makes people think before they act and the most it makes people not leave their homes. Whether it’s over the top scaremongering or not the way I see it is it will only help the situation. Not sure why it’s still bothering people.

I thought I’d miss football but I’m actually getting used to life without him. It’s different to pre season because you have the all transfer crap going on along with the anticipation. This feels different. It just doesn’t matter anymore.
