  1. Fair enough. Let’s also give him another season before we change on topic in to the Chris Wilder appriecation society.
  2. He does deserve all the praise he gets. I just find it amusing how so many Villa fans can’t seem to shut up about him on a forum about Villa in every bloody thread. It’s Wilder this and Wilder that. This is a Jack Grealish thread and some how Sir Chris Wilder gets bought up. Let’s see if the same fans are creaming over him and still have his posters on the wall after next season. if they do then I accept I was wrong about him and I’ll join the wank fest and also buy some posters :)
  3. Thanks for this. Will check them out. Good to re-live past games but looking at what’s been showed it kinda of confirms we’ve been a pretty average club over the past 10 years. Just making up the numbers.
  4. The wank fest over Sheffield United cracks me up. One good season in the top flight (which is pretty incredible to be fair) and now Wilder is the best thing since sliced bread. Hull and Ipswich both did similar things once and went down a season later. Let’s see how Sheffield United fare next season before we put posters of Wilder on our bedroom walls.
  5. I agree there are players out there that are as good as him. I think Mahrez is as good as him if not better and he was initially bought for a few hundred thousand from France. Kante now one of the best defensive midfielders in the world was 3-4 million. Mane in my opinion one of the best wingers in the world wouldn’t have cost a fortune for Southampton. There’s gems out there which is why every single club is spending a fortune trying to find them. But still let’s face it the chances of finding a player as good as Jack that wants to come to us are slim. But it’s not impossible. I personally think Benrahma will go on to be better than Jack. But that’s just my own opinion.
  6. Nobody is saying we would be better without him but we do need to stop such a reliance on one player. The whole of his transfer fee needs to be invested very wisely.
  7. I think we should sell him If we can get big money. We need a team. Not just an individual when he decides to turn up. People talk about him like he’s Maradonna. Edit: I love watching him play and don’t want him to leave. He could also probably play for any team in the league. I just think we make him look better than he actually is and it wouldn’t be the end of the world if we sold him.
  8. Police need to get the batons out. See if people want to give them clarifications on the situation then
  9. Local park was very busy today. Saw a couple of picnics and one family kicking a ball about.
  10. I reckon Tories will be ripped to pieces after this is over. I said before that I’d wager that the next government will be a Labour one.
  11. He does slap the floor with his hand every time he is fouled as if he has broken his leg. Scares the hell out of everyone. Gets players booked too which is why we have played 10 men so often this season.
  12. I was going to wait for episode 10 and then binge watch the last 3. But sounds like I shouldn’t wait!
  13. We haven’t had a hard man in years. Saying that I wouldn’t have messed with Dunne and Collins.
  14. Good point about Samatta. I hadn’t considered that. Let’s see how the season ends first. If it ever does.
  15. Happy to see they re-opened the local park
  16. Wow I must have been really drunk when I replied to your email. There’s a typo with an extra 0 on there Let’s call it £50 to VT. Teams that get relegated generally struggle the first season so I’d rather go with ‘doing the business’ as being Wesley contributing to at least 20 goals. So that’s goals and assists. I think that would be a decent return for a player in his first year in the championship. Plus he will have come back from a pretty horrific injury so may need time to get up to speed. Also happy to pre-pay if limpid agrees.
  17. I never thought I’d be so gutted about them closing my local park. Hopefully they will open it again soon. Not sure about anybody else but I’ve drinking a lot more than I usually do during this lockdown. Pretty constant too. Haven’t had a drink today and feel really low. I suspect the next few days will be difficult. I know it’s difficult for everybody.
  18. Sorry I meant the park by me. Its quite a big park and probably the nicest attraction in the town so its a real shame. Will edit the post so its clear.
  19. I love how if you do not believe the conspiracy theories it makes you ‘dumb’ or a ‘sheep’. As if those that believe it have now got one of over the powers that be and theirs lives will be different for it! It’s the 5g ones that wound me up the most.
  20. My local park has been closed due to people not abiding to social distancing rules. It’s a shame as when I went for a jog it always seemed like everybody was doing their bit. I guess there’s always a few idiots.
  21. It’s incidents like this when I wouldn’t mind seeing some heavy handed policing. Then again it sounds like any sort of policing would be welcome. selfish scumbags!
  22. Probably on the same planet as people that claim another one of our players won’t cut it in the championship even though he has managed to score a goal against 4 of the top 5 teams in the league. I don’t rate said player but I think people seem to forget how big the gulf in quality is between the two league. Albert Adomah thrived in that league ffs!
  23. I’ll take that wager. Let’s call it a £500? We need to define what ‘doing the business’ it though?
  24. The government knew what would happen. They just weighed up the impact on the economy alongside the death count to see how long they could avoid the lockdown for.
