To be honest I don’t really know what I’m taking about so that was a throw away comment really. But I have read a lot that real inflation is and will be a lot higher than the official figures will ever tell us. Gold is a hedge against inflations and it’s close to all time highs.

Agree. In many ways you’d want him to leave before people turned on him. He seems a top bloke that’s done his best. It would be a shame if things ever got nasty the way they did with Bruce. I doubt that will ever happen though.

No fans must ease the pressure in some ways too. Villa park would have got nasty by now.

Economics blows my mind. Isn’t all this monetary easing going to effectively bankrupt the country? Inflation is going to rocket.

He needs to go end of the year. There’s no improvement. We look a shadow of the team we did the first half of the season. Obviously not all Smiths fault but you can’t exactly sack the whole team. Him and the coaching staff and the DOF need to pay the price. Even Purslow should be held accountable too. God knows who will replace them all though.

Fans on here will probably say I’m chatting s**t but I think we badly miss Wesley. His movement and general hold up play was a lot better than Davis and Samatta. Yes he had way too many stinkers but I don’t think it’s a coincidence our goals have dried up since he got injured. He gave defenders something to think about. At the moment they seem to be cruising against us.
