You’re right. He just needed a 20 goal striker and we could have gone up. Maybe he needed a winger that could have a combined goals and assists total of over 20. Two of these and he would have had an even better chance: Yeah but he still didn’t have the best player in the league at his disposal. This is all attacking players. He didn’t have a top defender or leader in the team! You’re right. Bruce had it tough.

I actually thought he looked a lot better in the Premier League than in the championship. It’s probably because he is not expected to get forward as much and that’s where his limitations are.

He looked pretty impressive against Burnley so vast improvement in the second part of the season is not out of the question. You could see that Luiz had bags of potential though. It didn’t show so much for Wesley.

I wasn’t arguing that’s what he will go for because no other English players have gone for that amount. I was just pointing out he would become the second higher English transfer in history. I actually think 60 million is a hell of a lot of money. -
