EPOC is excess post exercise oxygen consumption. In the fat burning context its basically the elevation of your BMR for a period after intense exercise. Eating before HIT increases the size of this elevation. HIT in a fasted state not only results in lower EPOC, it also hinders your performance when doing the exercise. But wouldn't the majority of calories burned be just the carbs from the food you ate? I'm just thinking from a purely fat loss perspective? I mean how much food are we talking, what type and how long before a session of let says 20 min sprints?

Britain is probably the most inclusive and racially tolerant society in the world. You only have to ask the number of people from different races and religions that live here that question. Gabby looks poor but still offers more than Bent. I'd prefer neither of them played if possible.

To be fair I think Pardew has put a good team together there and once their players settle they will do well. I think we will may struggle at home but are good enough to comfortably staff up as long as no serious injuries to defenders.

First thing in the morning isn't ideal for all cardio, just low intensity AFAIK. I think the opposite is ideal for HIT. Eating before high intensity work results in considerably higher EPOC. The only negatives with HIT are that it's hard work and it takes more time to recover from. The second one doesn't really matter if you don't do 10+ hrs/wk of mildly intense excercise and the first one doesn't matter if you're not a lazy bastard like me. EPOC? I thought HIT on an empty stomach uses fat scores for energy?

Love a bit of advice. As I've mentioned before I had a new DMF and clutch put in to my Astra tdi 1.9 Now the engine as a diesel has always sounded like a tractor when idle but now sounds like shit when I drive it as well. The car still has decent power but really does sound like shit. Any idea what it could be and how it could be linked to the job done? Or maybe I'm just paranoid and they all sound like shit but it's never bothered me before. Now I hate driving it.

Wasn't it three racist messages out of thousands? As a person of colour as one poster so nicely put it. I'd give him another chance. But you're probably right and his best bet may be to manage abroad for a few years.

You have to think that these guys are basically losers back in England, no job, no woman, no hope, frustrated. With IS, they have a chance to play out their little war games fantasies, and if they get killed, well, it's probably what they secretly wanted anyway. Apparently many are quite educated. Not sure how true that is.
