What I'm going to say now is very controversial but when I'm shown images of starving malnutrition children (I mean really extreme stuff) and I'm told donating so much a month could feed them and save their lives. I begin to think save their life for what? A long life of agony in a country where the government(if there is one) will happily let them starve. Rebel groups that will commit no end of atrocities towards them that's if they don't fall in to the trap of doing it themselves. The images shown are too extreme or maybe my thinking is all **** up but it doesn't make me want to donate. It actually puts me off at times.

I was impressed with Senderos first game. Against Newcastle I thought it was an ok performance but we got a bit lucky as Newcastle missed some good chances.

It wont last. United are throwing money at the problem and it will probably turn out ok for them in the end. I can see another couple of seasons of them being out of the title race but before we know it they will be back at the top. I said a few years ago they would eventually be left behind by Chelsea and City. While the others were spending ridiculous sums every year Man U were adding one or two players and spending nowhere near as much. The result now is way to much of a rebuild needed in one go.

I think fans do tend to find a scapegoat that can do nothing right unless becomes the best player on the pitch every week. Examples are Hutton, Petrov, Bannan, and the latest one is Gabby.

How can we tell that unless he is actually give a chance? With the top two currently performing so poorly what is the harm in giving a player a chance for more than 15 minutes to show what he can offer? A defeat maybe? Every point is crucial. Hoe can you deserve a game because others are playing bad? Does this mean if Vlaar has a couple of bad games we should chuck in Baker?If Vlaar has a couple of bad games, we have Baker or Clarke, a pretty scary option. If Gabby or Weiman have the same we have a proven goalscorer with over a hundred premiership goals. Hardly the same scenario. At the moment Weiman is playing poorly , Gabby has been awful for a long time. Bent is absolutely worth persevering with, at least until Benteke returns. But he is no longer that player is he? The last time he was half decent was 3 seasons ago. Yes he only gets a few minutes here and there so it's hard to judge but he looks totally off the pace. Lambert must see this in training and also see that starting him could potentially reduce us to 10 men for a half.
