The fact he can score goals like this shows he has a lot of ability. He just needs to work on other aspects of his game to be an all round player. He is young right?

First of all I think 'badmouthing' is the wrong word, I was one of the posters constantly saying that I didn't think he was a 'prick' like a few others were making out and I also said he seemed like an alright guy. So I wasn't knocking him as a person as 'badmouthing' might imply. As I've already said I had my reservations and still do, but it's just a case of wait and see. One of the arseholes on H&V posted this as well. All I will say is that any true Villa fan will not get on the manager's back on day one. Come on that is quite funny though.

Very true Zatman, that is the big question.... I reckon we'll find out very quickly whether it was actually Lamberts tactics/motivational ability or the players at fault Hope the guys given a chance though.

To be fair we haven't got a team of overpaid prima donnas. Just a lot of players completely devoid of confidence, belief and an idea of how they are meant to be playing.

I like him and think he will do a good job. I expect a feel good factor to slowly return.

They have contingency plans for all scenarios and in this could of situation would already have someone lined up. They are an extremely well run club. They are everything we are not right now.

The ironic thing is I honestly believe If Lerner has anything to do with recruiting the next manager there is not a chance it will be Sherwood. Lerner clearly likes nice guys that he can bend over as he pleases. So once the majority of fans will hope Lerner is involved. If we recruit Sherwood it will be Fox's call and it's one that I'm convinced will be the right choice until the end of the season.

Why would they go for Lambert? I definitely think he'll bounce back but no Premier League club would take him right now and understandably so. Because he has an history of saving clubs from relegation. He really hasn't. He kept us up for the last two seasons but he has no experience of coming into a club already down there and steering them to safety. Because a 10 year old on Twitter said so? Actually, that Twitter account is one of the few that is legit. Really. Isn't it the same account that said a takeover was done. Anybody know who it is?

I personally think approaching Pulis now would be a new low for the club.
