    Could go either way this one, we narrowly beat them away, but they were missing their two centre-backs, as well as Maddison, Bissouma and Richarlison. Seeing our performance drop in the 2nd halfs v Luton and Forest, if we do that versus this lot they will run riot.

    I normally go a check out the match threads of the teams we play on their forums. Just checked the Spurs forum and their match thread is 18 pages long, they are completely unhinged

    It only turned out to be a good deal because Todd "Brewster's Billions" Bohley decided to pay double what he was worth.

    England, like Spain etc only have 4 CL spots because their teams do well in Europe every year over a five-year period. If English teams regularly went out in the group stages, they'd quickly lose 4th, maybe even 3rd spot.

    Won't work. Players can have their salaries capped, but nothing stopping an Abu Dhabi or Suadi based company (totally not affiliated with the owners of the respective clubs) from offering insane sponsorship deals to players as "incentives" to play for certain state owned clubs.

    Lost Barry and Miler to them, and Randy pulled the plug. City did it to Arsenal as well, bought loads of their players until they overtook them.

    England should rise in the ranking this week and next. We were actually disadvantaged by having the English teams top the Europa groups, as it meant none of them played in the playoff round, and despite that we're still in in touching distance of 2nd. I can't see how we don't get at least 2nd, unless all teams bomb out this round.

    They're still "big 6" in terms of revenue, which dwarfs ours. Is there a list of clubs that voted for FFP initially in 2011? Be interesting to see who wanted it.

    I noticed that when he came on at the weekend, he looked bigger than Watkins. If Emery can improve his technical abilities, he's going to be an absolute machine in the PL.

    Seeing a lot of predicted lineups with Digne starting. Doesn't it make more sense to play Moreno in this game and then Digne for Spurs?

    5th is the absolute minimum we'll finish, and it will likely be enough for CL football. Beat Spurs at the weekend and 4th is ours.

    Cole Palmer was not a star player for City, he was an academy player on the fringes of the first team. It's the equivalent of us selling Philogene or Archer.

    We can make a couple of changes and still field a strong team. Wouldn’t be surprised if Digne and Diaby come in. Pau possibly will get 45 to be ready for a Spurs.

    There will for four Seeded pots, we'll likely be bottom. Two picked from each pot, I assume teams from same domestic league can't play each other, so we'll probably have a very difficult set of fictures.
