  1. But surely that doesn't last forever?
  2. Seen on Twitter that City have a 20% sell on clause, surely that's expired since he started a new contract? If so, would explain why we might be doing a "swap deal".
  3. We don't need "hard cash" our owners are loaded and don't need money, they're prevented from putting money in because of PSR. The value of the players in the swap deal are included to help with PSR, so it doesn't matter if we have a player worth £25m or £25m in money, it's the same thing in PSR terms.
  4. Unless Doug want to leave, Juve are a massive club he might already have decided. Selling Duran and Luiz would allow us to get a HUGE signing later in the window.
  5. We were going to match City's wages though, I suppose Gallagher probably won't win a treble here though.
  6. Maybe not, i wonder if we're interested in any other of their players. That Maatsen looks a player and Dortmund seem reluctant to pay the asking price, would be an great replacement for Moreno.
  7. We'll see a lot more like this with Monchi, buy young and cheap, sell for profit. Wouldn' surprise me if the likes of Nedjelkovic is sold on at some point, unless he's exceptional and nails a spot.

I can't see it personally, not the way modern football is played. He would have been a world beater if he played during the late 90s/early 00s though.
  9. With Buendia back, and hopefully Ramsey too, we'll probably see Rogers play more as the 10 behind Watkins.
  10. Duran for Gallagher solves both clubs issues, if Gallagher can be convinced to join then it's a win-win.
  11. At least he's showing some loyalty to his boyhood club, unlike someone...

I'd snap your hand off for £40m+, especially since he won;t suit their possession based system.
  13. Barca have less money than Juve
  14. Success does earn you wiggle room. Chelsea have won 6 premier leagues and two champions leagues the past 20 years, along with numerous fa and league cups. Hence why they have wiggle room.
  15. Would probably have had to sell Watkins or Martinez

What’s stopping two teams selling each other a player for the same price, and then amortising the fees? Another way around PSR?

Chelsea buy Duran for 50m, we buy Gallagher for 50m. Win win, **** PSR!

He’s more chance getting in Chelsea team than ours, Jackson is shite.

Still good money regardless. Chelsea have such a chaotic transfer policy, sign as many talented young players as possible, and hope they stumble upon a Palmer tier one, dump the ones that don’t make the grade.

€50m we can’t turn that down. What’s the PSR implications of this?

£30m is too low, we got £25m for Archer who’s a championship striker at best.
  22. They don’t have the money, hence why we’re buying two of their players.
  23. For now, maybe she’s looking to move home?
  24. Turin isn’t far from the Switzerland so you never know.
