The transfers of Tim and Dobbin have already been confirmed by the Premier League, why would they investigate them after they already approved them?
My guess is these articles about ‘fair market value’ are just “journalists “ doing their bidding by some big 6 team to create some noise about it.
So, which of the cartel do we reckon is kicking up a fuss here? My guess would be United, as Everton are now compliant with PSR so don’t have to sell Branthwaite.
City, Chelsea and Liverpool all do this. United are terrible at it for some reason despite claiming to have the best youth academy due to some players coming through 32 years ago.
I'd imagine your example is how they want PSR to operate. But the deal we're doing (particularly the Tim/Dobbins deal IMO) is the PSR equivalent of two teams playing for a draw so they both qualify for the next round.
Possibly, but I think that deal is dead in the water too - Gallagher wants to stay, and Chelsea can relax on the PSR front after we've bought Maatsen from them.
You don't stop teams making transfers, as @MaVilla post details, you just stop the teams from booking the money received from these deals as profit under PSR.
What are you on about taking sides I never at any point said I was against us doing this, I merely suggested that it will be closed, just like the selling the stadium sale you mentioned, just like chelseas 8 year contracts, this too will be closed if teams are exploiting it.
