  1. The transfers of Tim and Dobbin have already been confirmed by the Premier League, why would they investigate them after they already approved them? My guess is these articles about ‘fair market value’ are just “journalists “ doing their bidding by some big 6 team to create some noise about it.
  2. Anybody know if United, Arsenal and Spurs fans have gave the go ahead on this one? Better check with them just to be sure it’s allowed.
  3. Some of these transfers are insane when you look at them
  4. This is actually crazy, way worse than Kellyman and Tim
  5. So, which of the cartel do we reckon is kicking up a fuss here? My guess would be United, as Everton are now compliant with PSR so don’t have to sell Branthwaite.
  6. City, Chelsea and Liverpool all do this. United are terrible at it for some reason despite claiming to have the best youth academy due to some players coming through 32 years ago.
  7. Kayode seems a strange one considering Nedjelkovic is a similar age. We must be okay with PSR in July if we're signing players we don't need.
  8. DCL to Newcastle is off. Looks like they've taken the cheque book off nice guy Eddie
  9. I'd imagine your example is how they want PSR to operate. But the deal we're doing (particularly the Tim/Dobbins deal IMO) is the PSR equivalent of two teams playing for a draw so they both qualify for the next round.
  10. The red cartel and City don't need to help each other as to not breach PSR and get a points deduction.
  11. Neither club in your example need to do this for PSR purposes.
  12. We would, £100m -10k = 99,990,000. If we sold a player for £100m and bought one of theirs for £100m, then we wouldn't.
  13. Two transfers between the same clubs in the same window.
  14. Possibly, but I think that deal is dead in the water too - Gallagher wants to stay, and Chelsea can relax on the PSR front after we've bought Maatsen from them.
  15. That's what we though would happen with the proposal we put forward to increase the losses allowed under PSR, only two clubs voted for it.
  16. You don't stop teams making transfers, as @MaVilla post details, you just stop the teams from booking the money received from these deals as profit under PSR.
  17. So who is Fiorentina getting in return? Donck? Moreno? Carlos?
  18. What are you on about taking sides I never at any point said I was against us doing this, I merely suggested that it will be closed, just like the selling the stadium sale you mentioned, just like chelseas 8 year contracts, this too will be closed if teams are exploiting it.
  19. They aren't that common. And these technically aren't player swaps, we're booking the fee out and fee in separately.
  20. This would help, but the last proposal we had was shot down so wouldn;'t hold out much hope
  21. Yep, I think they'll try and introduce that. Then when teams find a way round it again it will just be binned off.
  22. More moving parts, more things can go wrong. All it would take is one team pulling out to screw one of the over.
