The article in telegraph that broke the Poch news said, we would wait if Poch showed interest. Seems like a deal with him is some way off. Does that mean Gerrard gets potentially an unlimited amount of games before we push the button?

He was favourite last time I checked but was 5/4, it’s drifted to 8/15 now. Probably just people betting on it.

Poch is actually the bookies favourite to replace Ancelotti, who it is suspected will retire at the end of this season. Might put a dampener on him joining us perhaps we could offer a clause if Real come calling.

Gallardo is unlikely, but we can dream. I don’t think he’ll take a job until 2023. And even then it will probably be in Spain, Italy or France. Could even see him taking Argentina if the current manager leaves. Emery and Poch are the safest bets in terms of Euro and Prem experience, while also playing decent football.

My only concern is to why he’s managed in Saudi Arabia and UAE after leaving Monaco, and not another top European league.
