Exactly. Pochettino didn’t play with wingers at Spurs either. Son would cut in on the left and Eriksen would drop into midfield.

If Poch is waiting until after the World Cup, it means he’s waiting for something better. There will be jobs available as the managerial merry go round springs into action. Which means we are not his preferred option.

Taking nothing away from Emery, as he done a fantastic job at Sevilla winning an historic 3 Europa Leagues in a row. A big part of there success though was the recruitment from Monchi. I suspect Lange would fall short in matching that, if Emery were to take charge of us.

7 of the players that started Sunday played in the 7-2 against Liverpool. They are capable footballers, if they are coached properly.

But if we are genuinely interested in Poch or Emery, and they are even a tiny bit interested. You’d move heaven and earth to get them and get rid of the manger 99% of fans want rid of.

What about the fact he said he would pick players on merit, and then refuses to drop players (McGinn, Watkins, Coutinho) who are underperforming. Constantly dropping Buendia for the underperforming Coutinho. Sanson hasn’t played a single minute. Archer barely features. He’s looking for solutions to problems he’s created himself.
