This would be my concern with Frank as well. Brentford are set up to replace a manger without too much disruption. It may not work out as well at a different club. In saying that, i'd take him over Gerrard all the same.

Well we currently have a manager who only wants to do well with us so he can get the Liverpool job. I’d take Poch leaving us in two years for something better. We’ll be in a better place when he does.

I think getting Pochettino all hinges on the Juventus job if/when the y sack Allegri. They are rumoured to want Conte back, if he left Spurs I think Poch would be for Spurs. If Conte stays at Spurs, Poch will be one of the favs for the Juve job. But he has stiff competition there, Zidane and Tuchel are better options for them, I think. If he wants to return to the PL, we are his best option currently.

Which is probably why it would be worth having Critchley take over as caretaker, until we get someone in. On Beale, I think it's a massive risk moving to Wolves, going from a promotion charge to a relegation battle. If he stays at QPR he could swap places with Wolves come May.

Farke got sacked from Norwich after beating Brentford. Lampard at Chelsea, and I'm pretty sure Nigel Adkins got sacked from Southampton even though he was unbeaten in 4 or 5 games (coincidently he was replaced with Pochettino).
