Damn, Gerrard really has sucked all the optimism out of this club. That people are actually wanting Dyche to come in when there is a whole host of managers we could get out of work or from abroad.
One of the biggest complaints from fans the last few months was Gerrard’s boring pragmatic football, you people really want Dycheball here for the rest of the season?
Just seen Conte’s interview on Sky Sport. Definitely sounds like he’d walk away at any minute if he’s not backed. Poch would be crazy to take us as if there is a chance Spurs job will be available in 6 months.
Think we’ll see a 4231, now that we’re not restricted to Gerrardball.
Martinez
Cash Chambers Mings Young
Luiz Donk
Buendia Coutinho Bailey
Watkins
Think we’ll see significant game time from Sanson and Archer too
It’s hard to know as Gerrard would play players out of their best positions, and not play certain players at all despite the poor form of the regulars. I hope to see some fresh faces in todays lineup.
You’re right about these two, they had talent rather than experience. Amorim falls into this category.
Gerrard was a fraud. Who has no tactical knowledge, and relayed on Beale. The comparisons with Amorim are laughable.
You’re a fan of Sean, you, aren’t ya? Or are you a mate of the family? Something’s going on because you’ve posted 25 times this year and I reckon 19 have been on Sean Dyche. You’re a fan aren’t ya?
But it’s known he wants to return to the Prem. United passed on him, Chelsea passed on him. The other 4 in the Sky 6 don’t currently need managers. Neither to Newcastle. So his best bet is to take a Prem team (Us) who he could get into Europe, and then jump ship if a top 6 team came in for him.
I edited to say that. But doesn’t that itself speak how highly he’s rated. That Sporting were willing to pay a club record fee for a manager who been in charge of Braga for 5 months?
Just protecting his mate. Wouldn’t read Much more into it. It looks much better for Gerrard if they peddle the lie the club is a shambles and Gerrard did all he could. Makes it easier for him to get a l other job.
A few days ago they commented on Gallardo’s wish for the Premier League.
Today, Aston Villa fired Steven Gerrard. I don’t know if the Doll will want to lead another team so soon… but the table is set.
