Yeah, it's clear we need to keep that double pivot. The team looked far more stable yesterday; I actually didn't feel like we were going to get cut open every time Brentford went forward.

Emery is probably the safest option, Amorim is more of a risk but if he's as good as people think it could be a game changer.

He's flexible, but there are about 7 or 8 teams better than us in the league, we aren't going to be able to dominate teams like that.

He plays a counter-attacking system with Villarreal; I think that would suit us with the pace of Bailey and Watkins on the wings.

Odds have changed since this morning: Amorim still fav but odds changed from 8/11 to 11/8 and Emery who is 2nd fav changed from 5/1 to 3/1. If it ends up being Emery it will be a real coup.

Emery is currently 2nd fav with bookies. I know odds don't mean much but as you say it hasn't really been reported much. Poch and Tuchel both had big articles in newspapers distancing themselves.

If it was Poch, it could just have been announced yesterday. The fact they’re waiting tells me he’s in another job. So from the list of top candidates it’s possibly Amorim or Emery.

Not necessarily. We could have agreed a deal with someone at another club, and sorting out final details before announcing. If the manager is in another job he could have a match to play (Emery, Gallardo).
