Was thinking the same. I think SA will up their involvement in sport, similar to how Qatar did initially (bidding for WC and buying PSG). Don't be surprised if Ronaldo moves to Newcastle on a huge contract, with a deal in place to move to a Saudi team in 2024, just as the bidding for WC 2030 begins. And Messi has also recently signed some sponsorship deal with the Saudi's.

If Denmark leaves FIFA, then they also leave UEFA. Which means no European football for their club teams, would be a huge blow financially for a lot of them.

Not seen him play, but 14 goals in his last 66 league games isn't exactly setting the world on fire. No better than what we already have IMO, for comparison, over the same period Ings has 24 league goals in 73 and Watkins has 27 league goals in 86.
