Can see him starting in the Cup, if he scores again, he deserves to start against Leeds IMO.

What did he say? On Bailey, I’d much prefer him to play on the left, he’s got a good cross on him, his cutting in constantly is starting to I irritate me.

Not for us he isn’t, he’s predominantly played as a lone striker or in a front two.

I'd be annoyed if we let Ings go this window to a rival, especially on loan. He's proved that he is at least a decent impact sub, and since Watkins and Bailey can't score, we can't afford to be getting rid of one of our only goal threats. Only way i'd let Ings leave is if a team bids at least what we paid for him or more, which won't happen.

Some people suggesting Bednarek. Isn’t there talk of his loan being terminated? I don’t see the point in starting him if it is. I’d much rather give Feeney or Bogarde a start alongside Mings.

Was thinking the same, I remember the commentary saying he had a knock before game so was not expected to even start. Luckily Traore provides nothing but a sprint with a defender.

We can all talk about Ollie work rate etc. but at the end of the day goals win games, he simply has to start scoring regularly at some point.

One thing I’m sure of is that Emery will not continue to play players who aren’t performing, unlike Gerrard. Digne, Bailey, Watkins and even Buendia had terrible games last night, I’d like to think there will be some of them who’ll be on the bench for next couple of games.

It’s the same in every player thread. A bad a game and they are the worst player to ever put on a Villa shirt, and then one good game and all of a sudden they are the best signing we’ve ever made.

According to wiki he was sold to Barca on 13th July 2016, Emery joined PSG on 28th June 2016, don’t think he had much of a say in it.
