    Carlos is actually right footed though, he only played on the left at Sevilla because of Kounde. He can play left or right which is great. My preference would be Mings left and Carlos right. Konsa is too cautious, he would never have played that ball Mings did for Ings goal the other night.

    You're right let's sell all players who aren't in the starting XI. Don't know why you can't accept that selling Ings isn't a priority? Emery himself said he's happy with Ings and he is going nowhere unless we get a ridiculous bid.

    I'm sure Emery would like to replace the whole squad with better players if he could, but that's not really feasible is it. The players who I mentioned don't play and should be a priority to ship out, not our top scorer.

    There are some players that needs moved on, Guilbert, Nakamba, Sanson etc. Ings isn't one of them.

    I agree, why do we need to replace someone who has barely played. More likely we would be looking at wide players who have an eye for goal rather than a striker.

    I agree, he's better on the right. Ramsey would be a decent option for the left, which his runs with the ball through the middle. For context, Emery played Lo Celso there, he even played Coquelin there

    The left role for Buendia makes sense based on Emery's Villarreal team. He likes the left mid to cut in, giving space to the attacking left back. This is more or less what he's doing here, added to the fact we are linked with an attacking left back Alex Moreno.

    According to Goal.com he has a release clause of €30 million. Not sure I can see us investing that in him.

    I've never heard of Alberto Moleiro, but is only 19 and seems quite highly rated if Barca, Real, Arsenal and Liverpool are interested. How exactly would this work in regards work permits? I can't imagine he'd qualify for one.

    When we are at home against team sitting deep, Ings should be starting. Away from home playing on the counter, start Watkins.

    The only way I would entertain the idea of selling Ings is if a bid for more than we paid came in. Everton, Forest, Southampton etc. If you want him, he's yours for £30m.
