I think I agree with this. Off the pitch we've been great with the owners in general and the stadium and youth developments. But we really have wasted so much money on mediocre players and then Gerrard and his staff.
I'm hoping Emery can fix this, and that he's allowed to fix it. I don't think he would have come here if he wasn't given that type of control.

Sums up pretty much how I feel. There isn't a single PL team that wouldn't have made changes against a L2 team. That team was good enough on paper to win.

This is my main grievance with him at the minute. Which is not his fault as that's what he's presumably being asked to do by playing there. I think he'd be much more effective on the left.
