    Seems to have gone quiet with the Deulofeu and Lee Kang-In links. I hope we're still in for one of these, either would be ideal to play in the shadow striker role, and an upgrade on Bailey.

    The bottom formation is how it would look when we have possession. The same as when we are defending the formation changes to a 6-2-2.

    Regarding his attitude. I would hope he's matured a bit since his Arsenal days, but if he hasn't, I can't see Emery putting up with that. I don't think we'd be in for him if his attitude was still poor.

    Mery's formations are dynamic, it might be 442/4222 on paper but the players are moving all over the pitch. I think he'd be useful; he could play in the pivot with Kamara if Luiz is not available or he could play in the RM position. I wonder could we ship Sanson off in the other direction as part of this deal?

    Shouldn't we be in with a shout for Thuram again? Can't see Chelsea going for him now they have Joao Felix on loan for the remainder of the season, and have a deal in place for Nkunku in summer.
