Kadan Young couldn't do any worse than Bailey at the minute.

I think he does need dropping, he's really out of form. We don't have much in terms of a replacement though, we really are lacking squad depth up front. It's a pity McGinn is out, him and Ramsey could have occupied the wide positions, and play Buendia as the withdrawn forward.

They do. Which is one of the reasons Marseille want more for him, as they will receive less if he goes for a reasonable price. Added to the fact they probably hate us for getting Kamara for nothing.

It hasn't. He was never valued at £9m, his market value was more than that, but Arsenal wanted rid, so they sold to Marseille at that price and inserted a sell on clause in the event he went for big money, standard practice.

City out of the League Cup, why did we not take it seriously? United, Forest Southampton and Newcastle left in it. We have never had a better opportunity at winning something, completely wasted.

He's a massive upgrade on McGinn for a start.

Deulofeu plays in a front two at Udinese, not midfield like Guendouzi. And is also a winger like Danjuma, so would presumably take Bailey's position in the team. He is also not 31, he's 28. According to Transfermarkt Deulofeu has missed 61 games through injury, whereas Danjuma has missed 86 despite being 3 years younger. Danjuma has had ONE good season with Villarreal and having CL experience is irrelevant (See Sanson, Digne, Coutinho). Danjuma would also likely cost 2 possibly 3 times as much as Deulofeu, and with no guarantee he's going to be that much better. Ultimately it will be whoever Emery believes is a better fit for the team.

He's only 3 years younger. How many of our players that didn't work out have a re-sale value?

But Deulofeu has already played in the Prem and played well. And Danjuma has already played in the Prem and played poorly. And Danjuma missed more games through injury last season than Deulofeu did

I think I would prefer Lee Kang-In or Deulofeu.

He's been at Marseille since July 2021. Even if we had bought him last year, Arsenal would not have sold us to him for that low a price. Marseille got that low price because there is a sell on clause.
