  1. Not being good enough to start doesn't mean he isn't contributing. Do you want XI good players and all the subs to be shit?
  2. We aren't going to get someone in before the Southampton game. Which is why selling Ings now makes no sense, we only have one game before the transfer windwow shuts.
  3. Let's go back to having Keinan Davis as back up then.
  4. Well considering we don't know if Watkins is fully fit or not, there was a real possibility he might have.
  5. The timing of this is bizarre to say the least. Two days before a match, when our only other senior striker limped off in the last game. The Southampton game is our only game before the window closes, why would we not have waited until after that game? Makes no damn sense.
  6. He doesn't suit Emery's Plan A, what about Plan B or C? Now we don't have that option.
  7. The timing of this is bad, completely disrupts out preparation for Southampton. We now only have Watkins (who came off injured in last match) and Bailey (who's not a striker) along with any youth players
  8. Only being reported on Sky and some dodgy ITK twitter accounts. We could have waited until an official announcement from the club before moving to Other football.
  9. Doubt he'll even be in the squad. Have no accountment yet on even passing his medical. We have Bailey and Watkins (who limped off in the last game) for this weekend.
  10. Will be fun on here if we drop points at Southampton because Ollie and Bailey miss a few sitters. Nobody to bring on now to salvage a game.
  11. We'll end up with Gerard Moreno or some other 30 year old+ on loan
  12. Prepare yourself for disappointment.
  13. Ashley young says hi. Ings is scoring when called upon most of the time, that's all that matter.
  14. He stays and scores goals as an impact sub? Like he has done for the past few weeks since Emery has came in. How can a player who is our top scorer be a waste of resources?
  15. I'm the same. If we don't have a replacement. We keep him. If the offer is less than £20m. We keep him.
  16. I'd rather see them go down and get no money for Ings.
  17. We already signed him, why do you think he's been asked to withdraw from the Colombia U20 squad?
  18. It's a tricky one this. While not amazing, he hasn't been terrible either. But he has recently made significant contributions off the bench winning us points. And Emery himself has said he's happy with Watkins and Ings, they both offer something different, which is what Emery wants. If we don't' have someone lined up we shouldn't sell, as it will leave us short. If West Ham want him then we should be asking for £20m, otherwise they can enjoy their relegation battle.
  19. I couldn't care less how much he is on as long as he is making an impact, scoring goals and winning us points.
  20. Everyone assumes we’ll just replace Ings with someone better, when was the last time we did that with a player we sold? Top strikers aren’t growing on trees, as evident by several teams needing one, and Man Utd loaning a bloody Burnley reject.
  21. But he is making an impact, quite a significant one in some games.
  22. That’s not guaranteed at all. West Ham might have a completely different manager come Monday.
  23. He literally got injured in the last match
  24. He’s injured, hence why they need a striker
  25. Agreed. Unless they have someone lined up, the answer should be a polite no.
