    It will be interesting to see what Emery can get out of him. I expect we'll see a few great goals and performances, and a few games where he's invisible. His problem has always been inconsistency, if he was more consistent, he wouldn't have been shipped off to Turkey.

    I think he'll be fine on the physical side in the PL, which should give him a bit of a head start to work on the technical side of his game.

    I don't think we will be a team that relies on one player scoring all the goals. At Villarreal last season, Danjuma and Moreno were the top scorers, but the midfielders all chipped in with goals. By the end of the season, I'd expect Watkins and Bailey to be leading our scoring charts, with Ramsey, Buendia and Luiz etc. chipping in with goals. We won't be relaying on just Watkins.

I think only Real Madrid possibly have more income than them, different league from Chelsea altogether. Chelsea were getting propped up by daddy Roman. no way Bohley can keep this spending up.

    We signed two players though and got another recalled from loan. Everton are joint bottom, and all their rivals have strengthened. Buying and selling nobody would have been a better window than Everton.

    Very good point. None of the players we were linked with in the media moved to other clubs (Luiz Henrique, Guendouzi, Dembele, Osorio etc.) So, they either didn't want to join us in January, or the clubs didn't want to sell in January. If the alternative to not getting our main targets is to sign bang average panic buys or nobody, i'm glad we went with the latter.
