Coutinho would be a passenger in this game, we can't afford to be playing with 10 vs Arsenal. Buendia for me has to start on the left with McGinn on right.
The general consensus was that he was one of the best left backs in the PL outside of the 'Big 6'. In is last full season with Everton he had the same number of assists as TAA.
Hard to call this one without knowing who is available, hopefully Mings and McGinn are back, Moreno needs to start, and Bailey needs dropping.
Arsenal in need of a win, along come Aston Villa. a routine loss 2-1 loss.
What does it matter how much the allegedly love the club? They are both professional footballers, both of whom were well liked when they played for us, they both left for greener pastures, and both dived and cheated against us. The only difference is one of them is a snake and one of them has come back and is being praised as a club legend.
They probably will soon. No way Levy is paying the kind of money we’d want. And the most important part, Emi said he wants to win trophies, Spurs ain’t the place
Where too? Italian teams can’t afford him. Only Spanish teams that could don’t need keepers, PSG don’t need one. And none of the big 6 do either. Bayern might, can’t see them paying the money we’d want.
Can't see it happening TBH.
The punishment won't be as severe as getting kicked out of the league, it will be a fine and minor points deduction, maybe a transfer ban.
But that's it, even if the PL wanted to throw the book at them, and hand out the most severe punishment imaginable, there is no way the British government will let them as it would put a strain on their relationship with Abu Dhabi. Money talks I'm afraid.
I'm less concerned about this game than the likes of Leicester, Wolves etc. We play far better against the 'big' teams, we seem to struggle more when teams sit back. If our forwards can take their chances, I think we can win this one.
