No, but it still unrealistic. We’ve done well to get into the position we have, but our good run has come against teams who aren’t playing well. Let’s see if you’re saying that after we’ve played Brighton, Brentford and Newcastle.

Barnes was great, great touch and had the beating of Young every time. Would be a huge upgrade on Bailey.

Talk of catching Newcastle is a bit unrealistic. They’re probably getting top 4. They’re 6 points ahead with 2 games in hand. Every team above us has 2 games in hand except Spurs. 7th or 6th, anything beyond that is not happening unless we win every game.

Yeah Chambers will get slaughtered by Barnes. Young still needs to come off though. I’d switch Konsa to RB, and is Carlos is ready for 45 then him and a Mings at CB

Always tries cutting in, no right foot at all. I wouldn’t mind the cutting in and shooting, but he’s no Arjen Robben. Get him off, move Buendia beside Watkins. McGinn/Ramsey wide, and someone to play in middle with Luiz.

Getting off-topic slightly, but he got clipped because he wanted to get clipped, that’s what he does to con the ref, leaves the foot in to make sure there is contact. Young did it too tbf.

TBH i'm more confident we can get results off teams like United, Spurs etc, we seem to be better when we are not expected to win. It's games like this where we are favorite were we usually slip up. Once things is for certain, Emery will be itching to correct that 4-2 loss.

They were extremely lucky in last game, our mistakes cost us goals. The good thing is we have a manager now who will learn from his mistakes, rather than doing the exact same thing again expecting different results. -

I wouldn't call them a bogey side, it's been pretty mixed results wise, 3 wins, 2 draws and 4 loses against them in the league since our promotion. -
So many things can happen between now and end of season, the league is that tight this year. Until we lose a couple in a row, Europe is on IMO.
