I could be remembering it wrong, but I remember Konsa playing RB for a few games under Smith and thought he did quite well. Also, you have to remember that under Emery the RB acts as basically a 3rd CB/DM

Perfect analysis. It just goes to show Emery really is a genius. I'd argue that he is more important than any player we have in the squad. I would sell the entire team before letting Emery go. Emery > Entire Team

It's a real possibility, we need to get the summer recruitment right though, 2-3 first team players in the right areas will improve the squad massively. The emergence of Newcastle might not make it harder as most people think. Having ourselves, Newcastle, Brighton etc. at the heels of the 'big 6' could be a good thing, it means they basically have to have a perfect season to stay above us, and we've seen with Chelsea and Liverpool this season what can happen if they don't.

The thing is, Brighton's two games at hand are against Man U and Newcastle, which is perfect, as it means at least 1 or possibly all 3 of them will drop points. Liverpool's game at hand is against Fulham, who are probably all but out of the race for Europe unless they take points of the scousers.

Spurs are hard to predict, they really are terrible at the minute and have no manager. But as you say, they have players like Kane who can win a game himself. I think they'll miss out on top 4, Newcastle has the momentum, and I would expect United to do enough.

They can't, they all play each other as well. Newcastle - Brentford, Us, Spurs Man U - Spurs, Us, Brighton, Spurs - Still to play Brighton, Newcastle, Man U, Liverpool, Us & Brentford Brighton - Spurs, Man U, Us Liverpool - Spurs, Brentford, Us Brentford - Newcastle, Us, Liverpool, Spurs. Looking at the above, Spurs could really be reeled in, they realistically could not win any of those games. We just have to keep getting results, if we can beat beat some of the teams above us we have a good chance.

Even if we don’t get Europe it will still be a huge achievement wherever we finish given the start to the season we made.

There always seems to be a question mark over players from Eredivise weather they are good enough for PL. But for every flop there are successes like Suarez, Eriksen, Vertonghen, Van Persie that go on to be star players in PL.
