With a ppg of 2.11, that’s 14 points in last 7 games, 4 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat.
That’s 64 points in total, would almost certainly be enough for 7th at least.
It’s the opposite, they’ve been playing well against better teams, and dropping points against the chaff at the bottom. It looks like they are back to winning ways.
I’d imagine West Ham would be looking quite a bit for him. Would probably be our record signing. He’d be decent in that role, and would weaken West Ham along with them probably losing Rice this summer as well.
£50m for a grand total of 0 premier league goals this season. I’d imagine Levy would be looking at least his money back or possibly more? A no from me, I suspect we could get better value for money in La Liga.
Most of us are not used to these kinds of performances, and even during the MON days I don't remember it being this good. A lot of people are probably just waiting to be brought back down to earth with 2 or 3 losses on the bounce.
Emery will change that pessimism in the fan base though, a winning mentality is being bred.
Watkins and Mings both in team of the week. Absolutely glorious in front of Southgate too, two of the best players on the pitch are two he didn’t pick for the last squad.
I wouldn't be surprised if we beat both United and Spurs but drop points to Wolves and Fulham. We fare quite well under Emery against the scum 6.
Spurs are terrible at the minute, and United's ramshackle defense and potentially fixture pileup will benefit us.
I'd like us to take Europa serious as well (we have the GOAT Europa manager in charge after all). But, playing on Thursday has a massive impact on preparing for your next game, instead of the usual 5-6 days preparation, you've got 2-3 days to prepare. It will take a toll on league performance, unless you have a massive squad or rotate youth players.
The pressure is on Brighton and Liverpool. Yes, they have games in hand, but we have the points on the board. The pressure is on them to win those matches, we just have to keep doing what we are doing.
