  1. This has been covered multiple times. The lowest league position for Euro football is 7th (depending who wins the cups)
  2. With a ppg of 2.11, that’s 14 points in last 7 games, 4 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat. That’s 64 points in total, would almost certainly be enough for 7th at least.
  3. It’s the opposite, they’ve been playing well against better teams, and dropping points against the chaff at the bottom. It looks like they are back to winning ways.
  4. Brentford are 9th, finishing above them in 8th is not going to get us in Europe. We need to finish above two of Brighton, Liverpool or Spurs.
  5. Oh well. Let’s hope Spurs continue to implode and Brightons form somehow falls off a cliff. Scousers get 5th, I’ll take 6th.
  6. I’ve never heard of him. He’s playing now, not having a great game. Lee Kang-In is also playing.
  7. Spurs v Brighton as well, starting to become a bit to obvious.
  8. I’d imagine West Ham would be looking quite a bit for him. Would probably be our record signing. He’d be decent in that role, and would weaken West Ham along with them probably losing Rice this summer as well.
  9. £50m for a grand total of 0 premier league goals this season. I’d imagine Levy would be looking at least his money back or possibly more? A no from me, I suspect we could get better value for money in La Liga.
  10. Is it just me or do all his goals seems to be absolutely smashed home?
  11. Most of us are not used to these kinds of performances, and even during the MON days I don't remember it being this good. A lot of people are probably just waiting to be brought back down to earth with 2 or 3 losses on the bounce. Emery will change that pessimism in the fan base though, a winning mentality is being bred.
  12. Hope he gets another year, we will need his European experience for the Euro campaign next season
  13. To be fair, I don't think many on here thought in their wildest dreams that we would win 5 on the bounce after the West Ham game.
  14. Watkins and Mings both in team of the week. Absolutely glorious in front of Southgate too, two of the best players on the pitch are two he didn’t pick for the last squad.
  15. I wouldn't be surprised if we beat both United and Spurs but drop points to Wolves and Fulham. We fare quite well under Emery against the scum 6. Spurs are terrible at the minute, and United's ramshackle defense and potentially fixture pileup will benefit us.
  16. I'd like us to take Europa serious as well (we have the GOAT Europa manager in charge after all). But, playing on Thursday has a massive impact on preparing for your next game, instead of the usual 5-6 days preparation, you've got 2-3 days to prepare. It will take a toll on league performance, unless you have a massive squad or rotate youth players.
  17. The pressure is on Brighton and Liverpool. Yes, they have games in hand, but we have the points on the board. The pressure is on them to win those matches, we just have to keep doing what we are doing.
