Don't know about next level, but if Emery want's up I'll not object. Spurs don't even have a manager at present, I wouldn't trust any transfer speculation until then.

Played under 5 different managers in 3 seasons, not really ideal circumstances. Was a regular in the Villarreal team under Emery.

Don't forget he gave debuts to Saka, Martinelli and Smith-Rowe. If our youth are good enough, they'll get a chance. I remember Emery saying something recently about having youth players on the bench, he said he doesn't want to give them false hope by having them there if they don't merit it, or something along those lines.

Tammy had 25 goals in 37 (0.67 goals per game), Archer has 9 goals in 17 (0.52 goals per game), not a huge difference. If Archer had a full season, he'd be on roughly 20 goals, not a massive difference to what Tammy got for us that season.

It would have to be an offer we can’t refuse. Was reading that we apparently used data to identify a club that would be best suited to his attributes for a loan, don’t think we’d have went to that effort if we weee just going to sell him. He’s part of the clubs long term plans.

If we’re spending big on a CB, he needs to be 23-25 age bracket, someone who is about to peak. I’m not sure what the question is, but slab head isn’t the answer.
