  1. Their goal difference was already better than our, doesn’t matter if it’s 15 or 50.
  2. They have to play the top 4 in the space of 20 days, and then play us 4 days later. Wolves was probably their easiest game, along with Everton and Southampton.
  3. Wolves at home was always going to be 3 points for Brighton. They have more difficult games than this, they will drop points.
  4. Wolves are useless, will raise their game against us though.
  5. Absolutely. If we judged players only on an unsuccessful spell in England when they were younger, then De Bruyne and Salah would not have been signed by City and Liverpool.
  6. The player was shielding the ball, which he’s entitled to do. It was a clumsy tackle, and if it happened outside the box it would have been a free kick. Its probably going to cost Dortmund the league title.
  7. The defender lunged in with two feet off the ground, and was nowhere near the ball Its the most stonewall penalty if ever there was one.
  8. Wasn’t aware of their impressive run of home games. Hopefully injuries and fatigue will catch up with them.
  9. There we’re literally some on this very forum looking him to replace Gerrard
  10. Even if the both stay another year, the others will not have long to wait.
  11. Aren't their contracts up in the summer? I'd imagine they won't be there next season, leaving Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde and Bellingham to fight it out over 3 positions.
  12. We haven't got back to back wins against United since 1992 (league and cup). We haven't got back to back league wins since 1976 (75/76 and 76/77 seasons). We haven't done the league double over them since 1954. Emery is going to put all them to bed. I'm confident about this one. Extra rest days, and if we are fired up like we were against Newcastle, we'll batter this lot.
  13. And to add, Liverpool and Spurs can't both finish on that because they play each other. So one of them or both will drop more points.
  14. It;s only in our hands if we win all our games.
  15. United are catchable, but not by us, Liverpool could though.

By which point we will be in a considerably better position than we were when he took over. We might even have a few Europa League's in the trophy cabinet by then
  18. We will beat Brighton at home, they play City 4 days before us who may or may not need a win depending on if Arsenal totally collapse or not. We are also a bit of a bogey team for Brighton, in the 7 games we've played in the league since promotion, we've won 4, drawing 2 and only losing once. We also beat them in our first season back in the League Cup.
  19. It's unlikely we will win all 5 remaining games, but the point was it is in our hands. The good thing is we have to play Spurs, Liverpool and Brighton, so they are potential 6 pointers.
  20. Well, it is actually. If we win all our remaining games, we will be in Europe.
  21. Man U and Liverpool fans are both insufferable, can't stand either club. But it would be absolutely hilarious seeing United (who looked a cert for top 4) drop to 5th, it would be worth seeing Liverpool in top 4 just for that alone.
  22. Could everyone stop worrying about dropping out of 7th, top 4 is now wide open. Unfortunately Liverpool will probably nick it instead of us.
  23. If we beat United and Liverpool beat Spurs on Sunday, they will be 4 points behind United on Sunday evening. Liverpool then play Fulham on Wednesday and United are away to Brighton on Thursday. By Thursday night Liverpool could be 1 point behind them if results go their way, with United having a game in hand.
