The ref never gave a pen initially, it went to VAR and they recommended a pen and the ref went to the screen and changed his decision. if after all that a pen was still given, it’s blatant corruption, or big 6 bias at least. Palace or Fulham would not have got a pen there today.

We only tend to play a high line against teams that sit and counter. Liverpool don’t play like that.

It wasn’t though. Kane made sure there was contact, I believe the technical term is ‘leaving your foot in’. He could have easily jumped over him, but instead, the cheating word removed let his momentum carry himself into Emi so it looks like Emi cleans him out.

Only conceded once in last 6 home games, and it was a dodgy cheating Kane dive pen. Unai has turned Villa Park into a fortress.
