    Agreed, we won't be signing anymore central midfielders. Currently we have: McGinn, Tielemans, Onana, Kamara, Ramsey, Barkley, Enzo and Dendoncker. If Donck leaves towards the end of the window, he can be replaced by Bogarde who will also cover CB.

    If that is the fee it's a tad excessive as he only has 12 months left on his contract. For context we signed Pau for a similar price.

    I think we can all agree... he's the weak link in the team. 1 Good game every 10 isn't going to cut it this season.

    You're aware we signed Onana, right? He will help massively with defending set pieces and defending in general.

    Nobody said he was better than Ollie. The fact that Watkins would be sold for £100m and Solanke £60m should emphasise that.

    Or, perhaps he excelled under a good manager? Spurs create shit loads of chances, he'll fit their system perfectly and bang in goals this season. The fee might seem excessive, but good strikers are hard to come by and always go for bigger money (Aren't we looking for £40m for Duran with a handful of sub appearances and a few goals?).

    To where? The two clubs that were interested pulled out, and we don't seem to be budging on the fee. Nobody wants him, his antics probably didn't help.
