If you have a quick read of the Liverpool forums, you’d think that decisions go against them every week, and that their is some sort of massive conspiracy to shaft them at the expense of the Manchester clubs.
What’s the preferred choice? It’s like the end of a game show, take the prizes you’ve won, or answer one more question and win everything.
Do we hope Brighton win, meaning a relatively easy game, settling for 7th? Or hope Brighton lose (also lose to City) and face a more determined Brighton, with a win getting us 6th but a loss possibly getting us 8th.
Fair play to Forest sticking with Cooper, they could have sacked him twice but stuck with him. Maybe he’s their Smith, mid table finish next season before sacking him and hiring Gerard
All eyes will be on Brighton game tomorrow, they win that and 6th is guaranteed. But if they don’t win, and don’t win against City, it’s a okay off for 6th on final day.
Wouldn’t anyone take Firmino on a free? I know ex-Liverpool players were a thing under Gerrard, and he’s over 30 and probably looking high wages. But a younger Firmino would be perfect in that deeper striker role.
